Our History

My photo
Ohio, United States
Having recently retired we are fulfilling our long time dream. We began our camping life with a tent in 1969 adjusting as each of our three sons arrived over the years and gradually progressed to a 32' Class A in 2007. Even after our sons became too busy with their own interests, we continued dreaming over the years. The Louisville, KY 2003 Great North American RV Rally and the book "Movin' On" convinced us that a motorhome after retirement was really for us! In 2007 we sold our home and disposed of most of our belongings and awaited the wife's retirement on February 1, 2008. We were out in our first motorhome ten times in our first summer in 2007, with our grandson joining us eight of those ten times. Since he must stay behind with his mom and dad to continue school, we told him he can join us on vacations (by car or plane) anywhere we are as we travel the US. Imagine the history lessons he could acquire! However, Mom and Dad don't look at it that way, especially the flying. Fortunately we don't miss work one bit!! We just miss the friends there. We have many hobbies to keep us busy when we decide to sit still for a day. Hope to see you on the road.

CACHE VALLEY CRUISE-IN, LOGAN, UTAH

Cache Valley Cruise-in located in Logan, Utah ---
July 2nd through 4th

My Classic Car with Dennis Gage was at the show with his camera man.
He was interviewing Craig Moyes, the owner of this outstanding 1950 retro Chevy, a one of a kind.
Designed and built by Kindig-It-Design, Dave Kindig
Interior by JS Custom Interiors, Justin Stephens
Read the following Poster about the car, date and build pictures.

You can double click on the picture
and see the progress as it is built.

The tail gate does drop and there is not a flaw
in any part of it.

Dennis Gage is interviewing the owner
who was a very interesting person.

The typical 1950 Chevy truck grill
and look at the Frenched headlights.

The interior is all leather,
notice the dash details.

5 Window WOW
Audrey put this next one in the previous BLOG that she did about our trip up SR 89 on Thursday
when we went to Bear Lake.  This was the owner's dad's car, bought new.
It was found in a barn that his dad had and he completely restored it then added the Tear Drop Camper.

These Speedsters are great examples of one of a kind.

This paint job is so deep you get lost in it --
  Metal flake.

Interior of a 74 Avanti

The owner of this Avanti has so much knowledge about the history of Avanti, the history of the company owners and how the company changed from Studebaker to Avanti today.                               I can remember when J. J. Cafaro tried to bring this car back in the late '70's in the Youngstown, Ohio area using Chevy Chassis.
