We have to work at finding something to do since we are not to go out unless necessary. I did go to Winn-Dixie the other day. Other than that we stay at home, even for church since we are in the electronic age. Our first Sunday at home was a CD sermon of a Pastor Bowden from Mesa, AZ. Friends from the past!!
Then our second Sunday was a TV sermon from an Abundant Life program and this coming Sunday will either be a CD or a You Tube of someone we know.
Gary keeps busy with walking around the park and drawing, while I keep busy reading and catching up with some cleaning. I can usually find a project per day.
We watched the oranges being picked from the grove behind us. It sure doesn't take them long!!

In the mean time we watched the park model home next to us being made ready to be moved to the back of the park. The previous owners are Canadians who have health issues to deal with where their insurance is astronomical if used in the US. They did not come down this winter. And they decided to stop coming south and to sell their membership and the park model and attached Florida sun room. The new owners of the unit on the lot have been making it ready to be moved to the back road in the park where they have been living.

We will show it when it is moved. Hopefully, we will get pictures of the new owners, though they are not new to the park. They are both very busy in park activities.
While Gary has been out taking pictures, he has taken some of the equipment that is being used to ready the new sites in the back of the park for some new members. They are adding six new sites to the park. It was quite a process getting it all agreed upon and getting the paperwork started.
We will keep taking pictures of the process to share with you.
In the mean time, I have been trying to clean up my flower beds without spending any more money. Fall will be soon enough for more expense. I do want to border them with blocks or some such thing.

These are doing pretty well now with daily watering.
They are plants that will continue to grow from one year
to the next. It sure is different from what I put in a
perennial bed up north!! |

On other days I have begun working with my ceramic map coasters. (Places we have been most often).
While waiting for the urethane to dry, I learned a valuable lesson!! You don't do it on cardboard that can be whisked away by the wind!! Thank goodness only one was broken!! But I also learned that the map on the revere side shows through after the urethane is applied. So I will later have my map choices copied so that there is no map on the reverse side. Then I can finish them properly. I plan to use them on the balcony at the condo for memory sake. I will use the first batch here at the motor home for conversation pieces.
In the mean time, Gary has finished up his project for the new microwave. We just need to find a matching cabinet door for above the oven.
Gary has also been picking up his art work from the galleries in the area where he displayed some.
He has also been working on more!! He is also waiting to hear what will be changed for his showing at New Brighton, PA for the summer because of this pandemic. He hopes that there will still be a show.

Not much in news, but I try to keep adding to the Blog so that our books will be complete for future reference. If it sounds boring, I apologize!! Stay tuned and maybe we can find something else to do. We hope that you are all doing well and hope to see you in the next month or two. Love you all.
