Rich and Lynn's friends sitting with Gary, Rich, Lynn and Charlie in the yard. |
Lynn and Rich are beginning to make it look a little more like a farm with Lynn's two pigmy goats, and now some little chicks!! What next? I'll not guess. The garden got put out too late and was too large, but maybe better next year. Rich is so proud of anything that they try.

Anna shares an August birthday with me. |
We also had dinner with friends, Bob and Eugenia, at their home after Bob got home from work. I guess work and the fitness center are his main hobbies. I share hobbies with Eugenia, mostly scrapbooking and look forward to meeting with that group soon.
We returned to Richard's for Labor Day where they surprised me with a reminder that I have reached 74 !!
Then we decided to incorporate a visit in Indiana that was to take place in September with our need to be out of the motorhome. So we left for a visit with Audrey's sister, Pearl, for ten days.
On our Sunday there our nephews from Muncie visited. It is always so good to see them and find out what they are up to. We learned that Paul and Angie have custody of their grandson. So they lead a busier life.

Another day we made the trip to Muncie to visit with Audrey's brother, Paul. As we were led to believe, he is not in good health. We will certainly be keeping him in our prayers. His brother's passings over the past few years have sure taken a toll. Paul we will call, just get your cell phone replaced.
Another day while in IN we made the promised visit to RVing friends who we first met in Florida, our first winter on the road. They have quit going to FL because of Ted's health, but still camp locally. They were so glad for the visit and we always enjoy visiting. The first visit there we were shown the hornet's nest that Katherine had to mow around in their front yard.
The nest was later removed from the tree. |
It now hangs in their sun room, empty, of course! |
Gary and Ted had a good long visit. |
While they visited Katherine fixed us a great lunch and surprised me with a birthday cake and gift!! She is such a sweet lady and we promised them both that we would be sure to have a good visit in Ohio where we are, with another RVing couple that we all met in Florida. We look forward to our next stay in Indiana and a new visit!!
Their back yard is so awesome with flowers and birds. Of course they feed them well to keep them coming back. I sat in their sun room and kept shooting the camera to have a pick of pictures.
The bigger birds would scare off the smaller, but they all kept coming back.
A beautiful sunset as seen from my sister's front lawn.
The visit ended all too soon, but it still is good to be back home, wherever that is!! I hope to keep up with the Blog better. Take care and enjoy the rest of your summer!!
