Today we stopped on impulse at
Canaday's Book Barn. What a treat! All you "Agape" antique lovers would have been more impressed than we were. Especially Don and Bonnie. This is an old stone barn

that Ted
Canaday restored to house his book store in town that he had outgrown. The wood flooring went from three inches in width

to at least fifteen
inches in other areas. It has all been sanded and stained. There is a wood stove just inside the door

.There are antique rugs

, bookcases

,

and furniture as well as books

. There is a loft

full also and the view below

is interesting. He told us that it was just an old barn full of straw and
pigeon droppings when he began the project. You can check out his web site for more information. It does take a few minutes for his pictures to load, but it shows many of the books close enough to read titles.

Enjoy!

That bookstore is gorgeous! I might be a little bit biased, though. I do love a good bookstore! :)
