Another month is half gone and only little over a month until we leave here to head north!!  They had to cancel the St. Patrick's dinner and dance here in the park because the park has been hit with seventeen more Covid cases.  I think the affects are mostly upper respiratory.  So we are now staying in the motor home except for Gary's few friends who meet for coffee in the morning.  The only place that I might have come in contact with it was the last Bingo night.  But I have since ended Bingo for the season.  Will resume that next November.  I did go and do one load of laundry yesterday.  But I sat in the car and waited while each machine ran with my load.  That will make us good for another week at least.

I also went into Wauchula yesterday for some groceries.  Minded my own p's and q's so don't think that trip would have hurt me.  Gary stayed home and scrubbed down the outside of the motorhome, including windows.  He sure is sore now.  But I think that the problem in his back that is causing his pain first began a week or so ago when he twisted and missed a step when leaving the motorhome.  Guess he will have to suffer through it.  Hope he will  feel much better when we head north!!

February 25th, Gary took three coffee friends to see Fantasy of Flight Museum and had a good time. But I don't know the details to share with you.  He also continues to go to his Highland's Art Workshop and the Tea Party meeting.  So he is on the run much of the time.  At the Art Workshop he is teaching a lady from Indiana his colored pencil technique.  Turns out that her husband know's Audrey's niece from Indiana.  It is such a small world. (He went to school with her years back).  

Gary's found a Men's Christian breakfast here in Sebring, FL to attend. It is much like the one in Columbiana that Bing Newton started years ago.  Another fellow from our park in Berlin Center, Ohio also attends.   

It was so sad to hear that they lost Bing this past weekend, following surgery for a brain tumor. 

March 5th, we went to dinner at friends, Skip and Jan's at the end of our street.  Delicious and so nice to eat out (outside that is) good china and all!!  Wonderfful evening!!  

Gary is still going to the dermotoligist regularly.  Hope he is finished by time to head north!!

Tuesday, March 8th we went to the neighborhood Coffee Hour just a few sites from us.  It was awful bright sun to sit out in, and of course I never thought to take a hat along for shade.  I borrowed a cap there. So that helped!!!  No Covid yet either!!!

 

 

The next day, March 9th, our park had an eat out lunch planned for Nicholaus family restaurant in Wauchula.  But only nineteen attended and no Covid was known of yet.  Turned out that none of them attended either.  Good for the rest of us!!  Then on Thursday the 10th,  Gary took a couple Coffee friends to Venice to a manufacturing plant to tour and learn much about the motorhome, Class C's and B's beginning.  We had toured a Class A  manufacturer years ago, but at this one they were built much different. 

Friday, March 11th we drove north to the Villages to meet up with Audrey's cousins, Jeanne and Norbert to pick up a barrister's bookcase that Jeanne picked up for us at an Estate Sale a year ago  They came from their condo in Jacksonville.  We met at Cody's Steakhouse at the Villages with another couple they knew formerly from Cleveland, Ohio.  We had a great visit and left to go to Russell Stover's huge candy store across the highway, where we also moved the bookcase from their car to ours.  Great that it comes apart into five sections!!  We put it in the motorhome for now and will put it back in the car for the trip north to Ohio in April.  I wanted it to store our travel Blog books, albums and a few souvenirs for our old age.

 At Russel Stover's we spent $40 on candy much of it sugar free!  The visit   was great, but a long day with the drive to and from the Villages.  Sue and   Tom live year 'round in the Villages, while Jeanne,Norbert, Gary and I will   leave in April for our north months.

We survived the time change.  Things are moving right along!!
